South America is a large region in the South of the USA. There are some major countries that make up the continent include Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Cayenne, Peru, Lima, Uruguay and more. Spanish and Portuguese are both largely spoken languages in South America, although French, Dutch and English are also spoken.

South America is a continent, which is rich in culture, and has influences from Portugal and Spain due to the connections of the regions with Europe. South America is also a wonderful destination due to its hot weather and good natured people; South American cuisines are mouth-watering and it offers several historical sights to explore.

There are aplenty flights to the Latin America though they aren't generally cheap from UK. You can get a cheaper deal if you avoid Saturdays and Sundays; and you can fly using an indirect route, your operator look into this on your behalf. Some of the airlines which operate flights to this region are British Airways, Iberia Airlines, Virgin Atlantic, and Continental. The major destinations that you can take a flight for are Havana, Mexico, Quito, Rio, Sao Paolo, San Jose, and Santiago. Entering the country with a UK passport is simple and easy. Some parts of Latin America are having had hassles for tourists so you must check for safety before going to the place.

The atmosphere of South America changes very frequently. You can find a series of arid desert circumstance in Peru and Chile,and on other hand you can also find damp and stifling weather circumstances of the Amazon. Gran Chacowere of Argentina is the victim of the hottest weather which reaches a shocking 44 degrees centigrade at times. It is very important for travellers to carry sun cream and other skin protections when they travel to Latin America as most of the time you will get clear sky and hot weather conditions.

There are plenty of lively things to do in South America. In Venezuela visit Angel Falls, which is the world highest waterfall at 321 feet, it's fifteen times higher than Niagara Falls! You can take a raft upriver to view it from the bottom or take and expedition to see if from an alternative view. There is the Rio Carnival in Brazil which is known as one the biggest, brightest carnivals in the world.

This happens ever February but book early as flights are sought after at this time. Whilst in Rio, also take the time to visit Corcovado Mountain and the Sugar Loa Mountain Day Tour, this excursion will take you through the rain forest and you can see Christ the Redeemer statue which sits on to of the mountain.

If you visit Chile you can trek to an ancient wonder of the world the Machu Picchu which is an Inca Ruin. The Incas were discovered in the '00s but now is visited by tourists worldwide. Don't forget your camera! South America is picturesque, whether it's the landscape or the people.
